One2One Mentorship Program

Members of the military community can benefit from peer-to-peer support and mentoring.

The One2One Mentorship Program at University of Maryland Global Campus provides individualized, peer-to-peer support to veterans, servicemembers, and their families—and offers opportunities for mentors and mentees to develop and maintain long-term positive relationships.

Mentors can provide guidance on navigating veterans benefits as well as career advice, encouragement, and general support to help the military and veteran community successfully transition from the military to UMGC's academic experience and civilian life.

Please note that this is not a tutoring service.

UMGC's One2One Mentorship program, which I actually mentored in, was great. . . . The funny thing about mentoring is you learn as much from who you're mentoring as they learn from you.
