Adjunct Faculty Association

Get involved in adjunct faculty issues and participate in committees and administration meetings.

The Adjunct Faculty Association at University of Maryland Global Campus was formed to engage in periodic meetings with the ÐÒ¸£±¦µ¼º½ administration, referred to as meet and confer. The officers of the Adjunct Faculty Association are committed to:

  • Communicating matters of common employment concerns among stateside adjunct faculty members and with the ÐÒ¸£±¦µ¼º½ administration
  • Considering organizing ÐÒ¸£±¦µ¼º½ adjunct faculty worldwide
  • Determining the effectiveness of the mechanism of meet and confer, as described in the University System of Maryland Policy on the Employment of Adjunct Faculty

If you are a U.S. ÐÒ¸£±¦µ¼º½ adjunct, you are a member of the Adjunct Faculty Association. Members are invited to offer suggestions, comments, and support. The association is also seeking members to serve on various committees, including legislative affairs, technology, communications, research, and outreach.
