An online master's degree in transformational leadership is an online graduate degree that can help you transition your leadership skills to a civilian organization. UMGC’s online master's degree in transformational leadership is a 36-credit program available only to military servicemembers and veterans. The program covers topics like leading with strategy, leading through change, and decisive thinking. Graduates may be well-prepared for careers in the public sector, private sector, or other fields.
UMGC's online master's degree in transformational leadership is a 36-credit program with courses offered year-round. Depending on how many credits you complete each term and the number of credits you may be able to transfer, you can expect to graduate in as little as 18 months.

The online master's degree in transformational leadership follows the standard graduate program tuition rates as well as the Master of Science in Transformational Leadership military tuition rate, which appear at the top of this webpage. We also offer scholarships, an interest-free monthly payment plan, and no-cost digital materials in place of most textbooks to help make your education more affordable.

Our Master of Business Administration is designed to provide high-level competencies in business functions such as accounting, finance, marketing, and management to help prepare students to succeed in private organizations. The Master of Science in Transformational Leadership focuses on augmenting leadership competencies that students developed in the military and applying them to leadership positions in civilian work sectors.
Admission to this program is restricted to military servicemembers and veterans. If you are a civilian without military experience and are interested in developing your leadership and strategic skills, you are encouraged to pursue a Master of Business Administration.
We will accept up to 12 credits from selected professional military education institutions. In order to receive the credit, students must submit an official transcript from the institution. We will provide you with a list of specific programs that students can use to apply transfer credit to the Master of Science in Transformational Leadership. Transfer credits are not required to join this program.
