Revision is a vital part of the writing process.Ìý This is the stage at which you step away from your work and return to view it with fresh eyes, to ensure that your writing is accomplishing what you need it to do.Ìý Proofreading is a part--but only a part!--of revising.Ìý True revision is engaging in critical examination of your own work.ÌýÌý
