In-Person Graduation Event: Grad Walk
Grad Walk is a unique and intimate in-person commencement experience where UMGC graduates are center stage and receive individual recognition—while their guests enjoy a front-row view!Â
Graduates can select from multiple time slots during Grad Walk, December 12-15, 2024, for their individual recognition in the College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center at UMGC’s administrative headquarters in Adelphi, Maryland. Watch our and go to Guide to Grad Walk to learn more.
Celebrations That Come to You
For stateside graduates living anywhere around the world, UMGC will also host an on-demand ceremony, featuring a student speaker and the conferral of degrees by UMGC President Gregory W. Fowler, PhD, on the Winter 2024 Commencement website.
In addition, an online Gallery of Graduates will showcase recognition slides that you can personalize and share via email and social media.
Finally, you will receive a Grad Pack in early November that will contain UMGC goodies to help jump-start the festivities.
