Amber Surmiller
Collegiate Assistant Professor, History and African American Studies
Amber Surmiller is a collegiate faculty member for the history and African American studies programs in the Department of Education and Professional Studies within the School of Integrative and Professional Studies. In her role as a collegiate faculty member, she teaches online and hybrid courses in American and women’s history. Surmiller has a bachelor’s in history from the University of Texas and a master's in history and public history from the University of West Georgia. She is currently completing her doctorate in history at Texas Christian University.
